Former US President wins an Emmy Award
Former US president Barack Obama has won an Emmy after being named best narrator at this year’s award.
He won the award for narrating his Netflix documentary series, Our Great National Parks, about national parks around the world.
Mr Obama – who is the second president to win an Emmy – beat the likes of David Attenborough, Lupita Nyong’o and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the category.
He is now the verge of becoming an Egot – someone who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award— after collecting the Emmy, which will join his two Grammy awards.
