Dash A.M Foundation launches their Girl Child Education and Mentorship Program at Mina A.M.E Zion School at Blekusu.
With their founder D. Afi Ayivor Amelor, the team from Dash A.M visited the Mina A.M.E Zion School Blekusu, in the Volta Region to educate the girls and create an awareness of the possible preventions of Teenage Pregnancy.
As teenage pregnancy has never stopped and continues to persist especially in rural communities with the recent rising economic constraints, Dash A.M has responded to a call to, as much as possible bridge the gap between girls of rural communities; who rather are deprived of certain basic opportunities compared to their city folks.

On Friday the 22nd of July 2022, the school welcomed the Dash A.M team who shared with the adolescent girls in the school practical lessons and also life experiences. They encouraged them as girls, to be bold and courageous to stand up to the future by postponing pregnancy now and plan their future.
Even though as a teenage mother you may have the opportunity to go back to school, the chances of not going back due to many add on responsibilities can be a blockage to cease the chance again to become well educated.
The girls were therefore advised to be determined at all times to fight through to the end, to be able to build a brighter future, and become responsible mothers in order not to endanger their lives and also their children’s by putting them through unbearable hardships and many health risks when they fall a prey of becoming teen mothers.
The Dash A.M Foundation intends to adopt a mentorship scheme which will progressively follow up with the girls to guide and mentor them to stay in school to be able to, as part of the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), support to promote goals such as No Poverty, Good health and Well-being, Gender Equality and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
The foundation also looks forward to organizing more interactive programs that will continue to encourage and inspire the girls to stay in school and focused, to be able to make the difference in their communities and the world at large
