A-ensonga Hearts: Transforming Lives Across Ghana
In the face of adversity, A-ensonga Hearts, led by Ms. Kenndicta A-ensonga Ajene, a dedicated graduate of the University of Ghana, is making a profound impact on underprivileged communities.
Established in 2020, A-ensonga Hearts has initiated over 16 life-changing projects, reaching over 4000 students throughout Ghana. Noteworthy endeavors like the “Floor-to-Furniture Project” have supplied desks to more than 500 students in various primary schools across the Upper East Region, including Goriko Primary School and Fr. Lebel Memorial R/C Primary School.
Going beyond desk provision, the organization has installed boreholes in remote villages under the “Potable Water for All Project,” benefiting schools like Ayopia Primary School and Gowrie Primary and JHS. These initiatives reflect A-ensonga Hearts’ holistic approach to community development.
Ms. Ajene’s inspiration stems from her father’s altruism and support for underprivileged students. Her vision centers on ensuring equal educational opportunities, particularly for rural children facing barriers to learning.
Having recently completed her Master of Science degree in International Business at the University of Ghana Business School, Ms. Ajene attributes her success and leadership skills to her educational journey. The University’s values of excellence and community service have profoundly shaped A-ensonga Hearts’ mission.
Despite challenges such as age and gender misconceptions, Ms. Ajene remains committed to her cause. Moving forward, A-ensonga Hearts aims to expand its impact, with projects like the “Floor-to-Desk” initiative already underway.
The support garnered from esteemed faculty members and the University of Ghana community fuels Ms. Ajene’s determination to empower every child with access to quality education and essential resources. Through strategic partnerships and unwavering dedication, A-ensonga Hearts continues to pave the way for positive change across Ghana.
